This was years ago.
Before leaving she left him a note that read, “goodbye”. She had the table set for one and the note was folded in half with her lip prints on the envelope placed next to the burning candle.
He was devastated and he fell to the floor. The one time he ever cried and it felt like he was dying from a heart attack. It was as if she reached into his chest and ripped his heart into pieces. Everyone told him she would leave one day and he didn’t believe them. He...
The rain hid her tears as she stood there, waiting for the last train home. When suddenly someone walked up to her.
It was the love of her life. His arms wrapped her once more. One last time. His huge hands, always warm, dried her cheeks. He had waited for the rain to start down to hide the sound of his voice. He couldn't bear to see her like that. He approached her with determination and touched her lips, a very cold lips. But she had remained motionless, unable to offer any sign. Their eyes crossed and they faced each other face to face, doing nothing, just looking into each other's eyes, like someone facing someone who wants intensely but knows that it is not the place or the moment at thi...

The rain hid her tears as she stood there, waiting for the last train home. When suddenly someone walked up to her. His masculine cologne engulfed her before the warmth of his closeness made her aware. He held his transparent umbrella high above them, stopping the only thing that hid her weakness. She looked up at the unknown man, yet he didn't feel unknown, he felt like a part of her soul. Oh God, she really was going insane. Shane was right, she was a confused, insensitive, fucked up mess.
The stranger, a tall and handsome man, looked down towards her wet face with so much sincerity it hurt. Lately no one has been sincere with her and neither had she . "Hi," he began with a dimpled smi...

Someone who was embracing rain and at the same time teaching her to embrace as well.
Someone who was able to identify her tears even during heavy rainfall , and wiped them away.
Someone who showed her the rainbow after the rain and became one for her.
That's when she realised, those tears are the end of a chapter long gone and beginning of a new hope.
The rain hid her tears as she stood there, waiting for the last train home. When suddenly someone walked up to her. She felt the chills - from the rains or the person behind her, she wasn't sure.
He held her close, she shouted - mentally. The kiss on her forehead felt like sandpaper - coarse and rough.
She wanted to go back to where she belonged - home. He was reluctant to allow that. Tears stained her face, ruining her makeup. He was sad, so was she. But neither could find a way out.
She had to get away from him before he could ruin her. She moved away, creating the most hollow spaces between two people in love.
He left her. Turned and walked away. After all wasn't she married to his...

The wind was howling as she ran through the field screaming his name. But he never looked,he kept on walking away.
She woke with tears in her eyes. She knew then that he had lost his life on the bloody battlefield.
The telegram would arrive soon and it would all be over.
Their future lost ,fighting for a better future for others
The wind was howling as she ran through the field. Screaming his name. But he never looked. He kept on walking away. She wanted to hold onto him and give him all that he needed. He didn't stop. His steps were brisk, fast and agitated. You could sense his irritation from his gait. May be he wanted to look back but he couldn't. His love for her dwindled, extinguished and lost hope.
She ran after him, parched, soul and throat. She wanted to sit, talk and feel blessed. She didn't feel like sitting alone, lonely and feeling alienated.
He didn't pay attention. After all, someone's acid disfigured her face, for a lifetime.
The wind was howling as she ran through the field. Screaming his name. But he never looked. He kept on walking away. She felt like her strength of the body was being lost. Soon she sat upon a flat rock in the field and tried to recollect the words that she used in anger which hurted him. Then she noticed a chirping lonely bird in a near by tree. After an hour another bird flew down to the tree and chirping stopped. Both of them might be mates she thought and consoled herself that he would also turn back to her someday.
The wind was howling as she ran through the field. Screaming his name. But he never looked. He kept on walking away..
The magnanimous saucer ship was standing still with its mouth wide open protruding an escalator belt. He got to it in no time and headed straight to the door. She stopped abruptly, panting in slow breaths. She looked up and called out his name again.
He turned and looked at her for one last time. The shiny pleading emerald eyes that he would never forget.
The silver door closed.
The spaceship soon made its way into the deep blue sky without a hint of existence.

.... hopelessly, staring at his lifeless body, machines beeping around him, heaving for breath with the oxygen hissing through the mask,
All she wanted now was him to open his eyes for a moment stare into hers, so she could tell him ....
