" you are an ex, an ex-could have been...."
-excerpt from the poem Love, Me
From my debut poetry collection Loveish releasing in Sept 2018.
"How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart, you begin to understand, there is no going back?"
"There are some things that time cannot mend. Some hurts that go too deep… that have taken hold."
-Frodo, the Lord of the rings: return of the king
Never think you are alone
Never feel you are alone
Never act like you are alone
There is always someone a special one will definitely come in your life and will change everything from your thinking to feeling to acting from being
single to mingle and that day you will remember my words for sure so
"Mark my words
without thinking that I am alone
Feeling alone or acting alone "God is there he has written when and at what time that special life is going to knock your door of life".
I think that happiness is a scary thing!
As you grow up, as life starts getting complicated and multifaceted, happiness also becomes rare and unattainable.
So when you are actually happy to that level,
When it reaches From your lips to your eyes, when it vibrates through your body, when no part of you remains untouched and for that one moment you feel nothing but happy. It's scary, its fucking scary because you know the moment will pass and it will haunt and it will not come back soon.
Happiness is a scary thing because when you know what it means to be truly happy. You refuse to settle for less, you daydream of the dsy you were truly happy.
Happiness is a scary thing! One moment its there ...
You'll always exist
In the books of my heart
I often go back
And get lost in pages of us
Where our love dragged on
For chapters at a time
I read until
The pages turn dark from
All of your kept secrets
And then I remember
Why our story had to end
So, I close the book once more
Until the next time
I am missing you. JD

I was 13 when I first read about you and then there was no stopping me from watching you on the big screen. In the first book, you came out as a lonely wizard who was a misfit in the muggle world and I, instantly, empathized with you because a teenager is a misfit everywhere. Just like you grappled through Hogwarts, I was grappling through my adolescence.
And soon enough you became my first crush. I felt pangs of jealousy whenever you were with Cho and secretly discussed with friends that how you deserve better. I also wished to have friends like Ron and Hermione and even though I was nerdy like Hermione, yet I miserably failed to pull off her cool image.
You taught me not to be a...
I open the book and my imagination explodes
Images run through my mind
In chapter one the man with the cravat
Can't wait to read more about him
The girl with the red umbrella
What's her story
She's in chapter eight
I need to hang the washing out
But that will have to wait
I want to read about the dog
The things he gets up to
Books are so exciting
Books are my passion
I go to the local library
So they are not something I have to ration
Books open up a new world
Take you on a journey to places afar
You can delve into other peoples lives
Without getting out of your chair
I get excited when my favourite author releases a new book
Will it be as good as the last one
I can't wait...
While walking down the street
For a moment
I felt as if you were around
I felt as if I really saw you.
For that moment I felt happy and
I did not realize that my heart can speak & that it still holds you.
My heart said " Good or bad, you learn & those moments turn to memories, let them breathe & don't let them fade away.
Let them turn into a great book some day!
The book, “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein is told through a dogs perspective. The dog that is narrating the story reminds me of my dog because of the old age. I have always wondered if dogs can understand humans and what must go through their minds.
Tired and haggard
Distraught and lost
I dragged myself in room
Picked you up
Inhaled your fragrance
—Like that of old memories
Lay down on the couch taking you along
— feels like home with you.
And, there you lay on my chest
When I opened my eyes
No more I’m hurt, no more is the despair haranguing my soul
I may not have got all the answers, my mind seeks
Yet, I feel at peace
Because you are there, with me on my quest of finding meaning of my existence.

Please comment, if interested.
My mind wanders to things it shouldn't, pressing my nose up to the glass of someone else's story. Why do I long for the pages someone already filled. I have my own blank sheets beneath my fingers itching for originality. Life isn't something you can plagiarize, we do not need more copies of stories already told. This world lacks inventors. Stop being a sequal and start your own independent plot.
Her mind was overflowing with poetic verses. Some days she had too much to say, other days there was stark silence. I never knew where all of it came from; how she could think of such eloquent masterpieces. I guess her mind was a more complicated, beautiful thing than I could ever have imagined.
The power certain words or lines have is very deep..
While writing this,I am reading a book of Arundhati Roy..
She is famous for her language..her way of writing..
In one of her books.. towards the end of a chapter..there are 3 simple lines..
But I think..those 3 lines made the chapter. It is as follows..
"Anjum waited to die.
Saddam waited to kill.
And miles away,in a troubled forest,a baby waited to be born..."
These 3 lines looks very simple..but..I felt it explains what each one of us are... Everything else we think as we are or as we have is just an illusion...
For our story to be written, but no you just left by saying it's an empty book
Human are not an open book even
when they say they are
There will always be some pages
that are written by invisible ink
You need an eye to look into a
The problem is,
Everything is written on the cover
But like everyone you started searching inside the book which is empty.

I'm sure a lot of you must have watched the movie "Wonder" which is about a ten year old kid named August Pulman who gets bullied at school because of his facial deformity. I am so in love with the movie because it can instantly melt hearts and make people realize what inner beauty is. The necessity of being kind is also highlighted in the movie. But, one thing I'd like all the ardent readers to do is to read the book because it is as beautiful as the movie. The writer, R. J Palacio has wonderfully described Augie's life from different points of view of his friends, sister and sister's friends. Sometimes, we get so lost in ourselves that we forget to be kind to one ...
