This was her last shot. She knew it well. Clutching a coffee cup in her hand, being very nervous as the day had come when her determination would either pay off or won't.
She never worked as strenuously, as she did for the last six months. She had gained a lot of insight and learned from the experiences she had gone through. Success and failure, for her, it was now a mere reflection of mindset. As she knew she had prepared herself for what's waiting long ahead and not just for tomorrow.
Only she knew what she felt right at that moment. People misunderstood her, judged her, taunted her, challenged her c...
Words to be used:
* REVERIE = noun
a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream.
Like the magic of fireflies at TWILIGHT,
She had learnt to SURVIVE as a child,
By slipping seamlessly,
From a dark place,
Into one of peace and tranquility.
From troubles of the present,
Into the silent SOLITUDE of her mind.
REVERIE was and is,

We walk on a tightrope our whole lives. When it comes to everything: not too much, not too little. We find our center or fall off.
And that's why no one's perfect. People carry things on their shoulders every day, and the best of us can balance them well, but no one balances everything perfectly.
Come and spend some time with me.
What I reveal in depth, I hide in simplicity.
Do not be so horrified by the shapeless clothes my body has donned.
They will mold to your beliefs accordingly.
My mosque holds no grudges,
and my God holds no anger.
What you think to be hate-speech, is in reality, spread by hate-mongers.
Do not be fooled by their luscious lips and intellectual conversations,
Each one has a motive and a cause for discrimination.
I would tell you much more,
But you would need to sit and listen,
So come and spend some time with me,
I'll show you a lifetime worth of visions.
Do not be so afraid, do not be so suspicious
To understand my shapeless body, you must lay d...
* FLY * WISHES * FOLDED * HAND
Take off: A short poem
I always wondered about magic,
Of powers that could make me FLY.
But as I grew and faced the tragic,
I became grounded and began to cry.
As naive I had many WISHES
I prayed all to be true
with my HAND FOLDED innocently
I hoped to make it through
I was in torment facing the falsity
I realized this isn't a FAIRYTALE
If I do not tussle with myself
Then I would patently fail.
Today I am clever enough to evince,
my dear older self to remember.
PATIENCE will always be salient,
Whatever happens, just don't surrender.
I'm learning from my fallacy, ...
Drop: A short poem
It say things that only you can understand.
It has all you didn't expect it would withstand.
Whilst inside its a mighty ocean.
But we see what comes out, is just...
A drop !
Reverse Gear: A short poem
Driving in a full speed
I was at my peak
This halt is bothering me
Making me so weak
I took steps long back
Gear after gear
I had gained the momentum
Year after year
What if I could or couldn't
Fear gripping my faith
Procastinating hard work
Thinking that would be waste
I should have foreseen
Brakes wanting me to curse
Realising I've taken a wrong turn
I so wanted to reverse.
But here I am
Being puzzled this way
Fear of collision is scary
Shall I just head away?
Putting my life upside down
Knowing I have something to lose
But I have a lot to gain
It's just about trying again
Slowly I started pushing back

Skies without stars,
Me if I'm not yours.
The idea that women are inferior to men is absurd. When a man is born of a woman, how can he be superior and she inferior?
"The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights."
