"This world is a prison for the believers and a paradise for the disbelievers".
-Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
An unforgettable year since I found out my passion for writing.
Thank you LETTRS
Happy Veterans Day!
You are one of the most courageous people I know because you always do the right thing. You never take shortcuts in life and you appreciate a challenge, no matter the circumstances.
Everyone who knows you immediately recognize your unwavering love for life and culture. You are compassionate towards others. Those of us call you a friend or family are beyond lucky.
I wish you were home, but I know you are doing great things in California. Being good at anything, especially business, takes sacrifice and time. You've shown me the importance of making sacrifices.
Can't wait until you're home.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE ON LETTRS
MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE......
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
"My eyes have not seen more beautiful person than you,
No women has given birth to a more beautiful person than you,
You have been created without any weaknes and blemish,
As if you have been created as you had wished."
-Hasan bin Thabit (RA)
If you close your eyes and imagine me, I will be there. Whispering love and other things in your ear. You will feel me pressing my lips against your skin, in all the sensitive places that no one else can see. Imagine me there and I will be there with you, inside of you in a way that no one else has ever been.
Our Three Winners
The impact that "Our Three Winners" left on this world is truly remarkable. Not a day goes by where these three beautiful souls are not remembered. They might be gone, but surely they are not forgotten.
"And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive it not." -Quran 2:154
This verse from the Quran speaks volumes. Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha and Razan Abu-Salha have simply changed their address from "earth" to "paradise". They are truly the real winners. May Allah bless their souls. May Allah enable us to emulate their good deed and guide us to follow in their footsteps of...
"And you, O man, O father, O brother, are supposed to be very jealous (over your women)."
Narrated Zaid bin Arqam (RA): In the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ we used to speak while praying, and one of us would tell his needs to his companions, till the verse, 'Guard strictly your prayers (Qur'an 2:238) was revealed. After that we were ordered to remain silent while praying.
(Bukhari - Vol. 2, Book 22, Hadith 292)
The powerful source of lettrs comes from the psychology of permanence but our passion for the moment.
All of a sudden, a message can mean something just a little bit more.
Best way to overcome writers block is to......'Box' it out of the mind to make way for the words to flow freely again 😜
Virtue of spreading knowledge
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA): The Prophet ﷺ said: You hear (from me), and others will hear from you; and people will hear from them who heard from you.
"Stolen my heart " Love the voice louder
Paid the time still than the World
finding you in the way let your light Shine my
from a long time. Eyes"..
to were we begun"....
you have got the habit of remaining undefeated,
walking ahead of everybody and everyone,
neither waiting nor pausing for the near and dear ones,
galloping fast making relationships feel cheated.
alluring the world with your tainted talks,
telling truths that could be wiped down, truth written with chalks,
trying to grab all with your icy cold lies,
hypnotizing them with your rosy tinted eyes.
manufacturing humans with their hearts replaced by clock,
humanity who do not have the time to rest,
who do not have the time to stop.
teaching and forcing us to sing the very boring hymn,
making us fall in the dirt,
making us slip through the greedy slime,
of valuing time, of valuing time...
